Module 4 Class Homework: – Emotional To-Do’s:
This Weeks – Homework for the Extra-Aware Sensitive Human in Chakra Balancing
(1) Root Chakra: Grounding
Task: Every morning or evening, take 5 minutes to sit comfortably and place your grounding crystals (like hematite or red jasper) in your hands or under your feet. Take slow, deep breaths, imagining your energy sinking into the earth. If you prefer, use drumming (even a simple tapping or clapping can do the trick) to anchor your energy.
Why this works: Root chakra work is crucial for staying anchored in your physical body and the present moment—without getting overwhelmed by the world’s chaos. This practice helps you feel solid and steady, and it doesn’t take much time or energy.
Reflection: After your grounding practice, note how you feel—do you feel more “present” in your body or less scattered? Do you feel more centered or balanced throughout the day?
(2) Sacral Chakra: Emotional Release
Task: Use carnelian or orange calcite (they’re your emotional release buddies) to sit in stillness for 5-10 minutes. Focus on any emotions or memories that need to be let go. Breathe them out and let them dissolve into the crystal. You can journal your thoughts after this process to get them out of your mind and into the world.
Why this works: We don’t have time to keep replaying the same old emotional tapes. Clearing your sacral chakra helps you process and release emotional energy that could otherwise drain your personal power.
Reflection: Did you experience any shifts? Were there any emotions that surprised you? How did the practice affect your emotional state afterward? Did you feel lighter or more emotionally stable?
(3) Solar Plexus Chakra: Empowerment Exercises
Task: Each morning, take 5 minutes to stand tall and affirm your power. Look in the mirror (yes, it’s uncomfortable at first) and say: “I am worthy,” “I trust myself,” or “I am the creator of my own reality.” Hold citrine or yellow calcite to help boost your personal power.
Why this works: Empowerment is all about setting the tone for the day—so you don’t get lost in someone else’s agenda. Building a strong solar plexus helps you keep your energy intact and avoid emotional exhaustion.
Reflection: After saying your affirmations, did you notice any shifts in your confidence? Did you start the day feeling more empowered, or did you struggle with the mirror work? Journal how you felt before and after.
(4) Heart Chakra: Compassionate Listening
Task: Pick someone (could be a friend, partner, or even yourself) and practice listening deeply for 10 minutes. You’re going to listen without offering advice, solving problems, or judging—just holding space. If you can, use rose quartz or green aventurine for extra compassion.
Why this works: Compassionate listening helps you stay balanced while not absorbing other people’s emotions. It also strengthens your own emotional boundaries.
Reflection: How did it feel to listen without trying to fix or save anyone? Did you feel drained, or was there an exchange of energy that felt more harmonious? Write about the experience and any challenges you faced.
(8) Self-Balancing Techniques for the Healer
Task: Perform daily or weekly chakra check-ins. Spend a few minutes each day scanning your chakras for any imbalances, focusing on grounding, breathing, or using crystals as needed. This is a self-maintenance habit, so do it whenever you feel “off.”
Why this works: As an empath, staying balanced is key to your well-being. Self-check-ins let you adjust before you burn out or become energetically overwhelmed.
Reflection: How consistent were you with these self-check-ins? Did you notice any changes in your energy or emotional state? Write down any insights you gained from checking in with yourself regularly.
“This homework isn’t about perfection. It’s about maintaining your energy and strengthening your connection to your own body, mind, and spirit so that you’re not drained by others and can thrive in your healing journey.”
Module 1 Class Homework: – Emotional To-Do’s:
This Weeks
(1) Set some Intentions as to what you are desiring to accomplish as a Chakra Balancing Healer. Write them down so you can see them regularly to help keep you on track with your personal goals.
(2) Practice holding space for another person without giving away your energy and sucking all of yourself into the moment. You want to hold your boundaries when you do these kinds of energy healing modalities. This way the other person knows what to expect from you too. And NO Abuse of power is used on either side.
(3) Practice this new kind of breathing that I discussed with you today to help build energy to use with others so you do not take from your own energy when working with/on them.
During Grounding You are breathing while feeling the ground and at the same time feeling the heavens. I like to focus on the earth’s core and the constellation Orions Belt which centers in my Solar Plexus Chakra; focusing on this building of energy in this area, with a deep inhale through my nose and long calm exhale through my mouth which helps calm the nervous system when I am breathing.
Module 2 Class Homework: – Emotional To-Do’s:
This Weeks
(1) Come up with a way that you feel good about doing a Chakra Assessment with your client. Write it down.
(2) Get a Pendulum if you don’t already have one to help you in these assessments and during sessions.
(3) Try Muscle testing on someone this week to see how it feels.
(4) See if you can feel and get a sense of people’s Chakras and how they feel on an individual this week. By using your hands to scan someone’s energy field this week. More people you get a better sense of how it truly feels.
